Mariah Allen is originally from San Antonio, TX and currently lives in California, where she works as a licensed health agent. For years Mariah wrote and saved her journal entries. She'd always loved writing but never considered sharing until she eventually realized she should turn all that she had collected over the years into a story. People were perpetually curious about her autoimmune disease, and she was constantly being asked questions.
Mariah had a wealth of information that should be shared to help educate others, and it was simply collecting dust. Creating her book was the perfect way for Mariah to help others understand they had to educate themselves on their bodies.

We want individuals to know they are not alone in this journey, as making the best out of every unpleasant situation is determined by you. Let us assist and aspire you to make a healthier lifestyle. Our community lifestyle strategy is improving the way people receive care to impact their health and encourage them into making real lifestyle changes, and implementing preventive healthcare measures.
We worked mainly with individuals who have recently been diagnosed with autoimmune conditions or diseases and don't know how to manage or take care of their condition. We help them find the balance in their life with compassion, support, resources, and a community in health management. Being diagnosed with autoimmune disease shouldn't make you lose your zeal for life. We have a book (which is turning out to be a series) that enables you to thrive and empowers you to face a brave life after diagnosis. The book is awesome, a must-read that's informative and inspiring.
“For anyone who has been diagnosed with an Autoimmune Disease, or knows someone with an autoimmune disorder, this book is excellent to understand the situation from a first-person standpoint. It details and emphasizes education, self-awareness and self-acceptance, and community support with other like-minded individuals in a very brief handbook. Extremely to the point and effectively written.”
Wow! I was diagnosed almost 6 months ago and walked out of the doctor's office just saying how unreal this was. The past few months I've struggled with medication management and pain. This book helped put things into perspective for me. I feel comfortable asking others for help now. This is a must-read!.”
“I am happy to have found this book. The author gives a "dummy" explanation of what autoimmune disease is and how our bodies function around it..”
